During his 13 years in Chelsea, he helped the club to win 11 major trophies including the 2012 Champions league title. Lampard is still Chelsea`s all-time top scorer with 211 goals in all competitions. He is also the only midfielder who have scored 150 or more goals in Premier league. He was named Footballer of the Year in 2005 and has been nominated numerous times for the  FIFA world player of the year award.

After his career at Chelsea he signed a two year contract with New York City FC, but played with NYCFC`S parent club Manchester City for one season before moving to New York to play Major League Soccer. In november 2016 the club announced that Frank Lampard would leave the club when his contract finished.

Lampard also made 106 appearances for England and scored 29 times in those matches. He was voted England player of the year twice in consecutive years 2004 and 2005.

Despite getting a lot of tempting offers from clubs around the world, including Premier league clubs, Frank Lampard has decided it`s time to end his football career after 21 years. His ability to play any position in the midfield and his skill to score made him one of the best footballers of all time.

Post retirement, Lampard wants to study to become a football coach in the future. We wish him all the best for his future endeavors and thank him for the countless joyous and entertaining moments that he gave to us.
