David Miller who smashed 117 runs off just 98 balls against Sri Lanka on Wednesday in the Durban ODI has been ruled out for rest of the matches of the series. Miller suffered a finger injury while fielding during the SL innings in the same match. He got a cut on the little finger of his right hand while attempting to take a diving catch in the eight over of the SL innings. He was off the field for the rest of the match and is said to be requiring stitches on his hand due to the injury he suffered.

No replacement has been named by Cricket South Africa for Miller but it is highly likely that the only reserve batsman in the South Africa squad, Farhan Behardien will replace Miller in the final XI for the third match to be played on Saturday at the Wanderers, Johannesburg. South Africa will play in pink jersey in this match to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Miller is likely to be fit for the series against NZ that starts on February 17.
