Chahal gains 92 places in latest T20I rankings

Yuzvendra Chahal, he 26 year old leggie from India improved 92 places after his spell of 6/25 in the series decider against England on Wednesday. He now sits at 86th position while his team mate Jasprit Bumrah who bowled emphatically in the last two T20Is has further improved his rating at second position and is now only 4 rating points away from taking away the pole position from South Africa's Imran Tahir.

Amongst other notable changes, England Joe Root has made it into top 5 after finishing as the leading run scorer in recently concluded T20I series against India while his captain Eoin Morgan gained 4 places to be placed at #11 and will be looking to break into top 10 in the next series. 

India captain Virat Kohli remains the top ranked T20I player despite poor show against England followed by Australia's Aaron Finch at #2. Another Australian player Glenn Maxwell who sits at #3 in T20I batting rankings leads the allrounders' list for the format with Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan being a distant second.
