A day after Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif were
suspended by PCB's Anti-Corruption Unit, 3 more players - Islamabad United left
arm seamer Mohammad Irfan, Quetta Gladiators spinner Zulfiqar Babar and Karachi
Kings opening batsman Shahzaib Hasan were questioned by Anit-Corruption Unit of
Pakistan Cricket Board.
PSL chief Najam Sethi informed on Saturday
via twitter about the development in which the aforementioned players were
found under the scanner of the Anti-Corruption Unit and were called for
interrogation. Sethi also informed that while the inquiry on Mohammad Irfan
will continue, he "does not face any immediate suspension." Shahzaib
Hasan and Zulfiqar Babar have been found clean for the time being and will also
continue to be a part of the current season of PSL.
3/3: PCB ACU will remain vigilant and continue to protect @thePSLt20 from the menace of corruption.— Najam Sethi (@najamsethi) February 11, 2017
Mohammad Irfan is the third Islamabad United
player to be put under the scanner after the news about the suspension of
Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif on corruption charges broke on Friday. It is
likely that the PCB Anti-Corruption Unit will question more players in the days
to come.

This is a massive shame to the game of cricket.
The good thing is that PCB is going hard to curb the fixing. Few good players might be lost but thats all worth it in the long run.
I hope if they are found guilty, than they get banned forever. They aren't kids. They know that it's a crime.
